karla is the bassist for the picts. she also provides the bulk of any backup vocals. karla has been in the band almost since its inception, and is the only member to have stayed with jim through all the moves and line-up changes. karla is one semester away from completing her b.s. in geology, and she plans to continue her studies at least through the masters level. you can find her online journal here.
